Our project titled "An innovative method CLIL opportunity for our school”will be implemented over 24 months. Applicant organisation is Szkola Podstawowa w Smardzowicach (students 3-12 years ). Partner schools are four schools from France , Spain, Turkey, Malta. The aim of the project is study and implementation of CLIL method (Content and Language Integrated Learning). Participants of the project will be teachers , including senior management.Participants will be recruited for the project according to the rules, taking into account the clear criteria for recruitment. It is expected that at least 50% of employees will take part in the project.In our 2-year project we planned 4 Job Shadowing visits in our partner schools and the participation of our teachers in 4 language and methodology courses (the UK, Ireland, Malta). The schools from Spain and Malta are real experts in this field. They implemented CLiL method a few years ago. The schools from France, Turkey and our school are just starting to use the CLiL method.We are planning to enlist a tutor’s help from The Neofilology Department at Pedagogical University of Kraków. At our school, for a substantial number of interested teachers, we will organize a meeting with a writer who published a number of materials concerning the early foreign language teaching, including the CLiL method.Our school will set up a coordinating team consisting of headteacher, guardian School European Club as coordinator, English teacher as coordinator deputy, psychologist, speech therapist.Team members will be surrounded by care of all project participants, organizing organizational support, language, culture and content in the project. During the project, the team will monitor his progress. Evaluation of the project will be carried out in order to check the degree of achieving the intended results. Throughout the duration of the project and after completion the team will take care of promotion and dissemination of results, organizing meetings, conferences, contact with the media, issuing leaflets, brochures, posters, publishing a lesson plan on CLIL. It is expected to obtain m. Al. following the results of the project:the acquisition by the participants competence in the use of large-scale information technology and skills in the use of CLIL- The acquisition by the participants knowledge and skills, to prepare students for full bilingualism, rise 3 new circles of interest. Gained by the participants competence, as proven by certificates and implemented on the ground innovative solutions allow schools to develop school in the school of modern and European. Here are the added value of the project: each of the partner schools will implement at least one new innovative and creative form of work adapted from school applicantWe aim to achieve the following results:- To prepare and edit “CLiL in our school and other European countries” booklet - To collect primary school lesson plans, which use the CLiL method- To prepare 2 etwinning projects and put them on etwinning platform- To set up a few special interests groups, where elements of methods of the CLiL method will be used- Some articles concerning CLiL will be published in magazines for teachersTo sum up the project, a conference for interested teachers will be organized in our school.
