Our project is for teachers of Spanish, French, German and English at Rålambshovsskolan. Rålambshovsskolan is a certified engineering school with high demands on teachers that they should use modern technology in the classroom. Language teachers feel they need training to live up to the school's plan. Technology should be a natural part of our teaching and language teachers feel they need to develop their skills in ICT.As a language teacher, it is also important to get input from the countries where the target language is spoken and so it is good for them to go on the course in the target country. Spanish teachers in Spain, French teacher in France, German teachers in Germany and English teachers in Malta. Malta because it is an English-speaking country that they as a group have little knowledge of.We believe that through this arrangement offers language teachers the opportunity to develop their knowledge of the language and the country as well as they develop their teaching with new and modern ICT.The school itself also want to expand our international contacts and therefore we want to take the courses abroad. We want teachers to have a greater understanding of different living conditions in the Euopean Union, and gain perspective on their own teaching and everyday life. Teachers will go on courses in small groups of 1-3 people to more easily come into contact with other teachers from other countries. We hope that this project will provide more eTwinning projects in the school and may lead to additional projects.
