In the context of the two-year cooperation project "Inclusive Education in the Kindergarten Field and Professionalisation of Pedagogues" qualified employees of the Integrative AWO nursery school "Sonnenland" shall sit in on partner organisations in Norway and Greece to improve their linguistical, pedagogical and intercultural knowledge. Altogether twelve state-approved child care workers - with different additional qualifications such as curative education, nature- and forest education and speaking and language competence – will have the possibility to get to know the child day-care system of another country, to exchange views about pedagogic topics and to develop perspectives. Therefore the participants of the one-week stay gain valuable experiences and impulses, which they can use for their own working practices. Through talks, observations and active participation in the partner organisations pedagogical relevant topics shall be discussed and reflected on. The topics: 1) "Inclusive Education", 2) "Programmes in Nature- and Forest Education", 3) "Bilingual Education" are of special interest. To achieve sustainable effects the project participants shall function as multipliers and share their knowledge in different AWO nursery schools. Furthermore it is the aim to establish personal contacts and to encourage other cooperative projects. In this context the use of modern information and communication technology should be promoted, because they are absolutely necessary for the processes of knowledge building, knowledge sharing and knowledge utilization. Therefore the project also aims to strengthen the European dimension of the educational system and to contribute to build relationships, which are essential for the success of the European area of knowledge.
