This project was individual EVS project which had taken place in the Fuencerral and Chamberi districts of Madrid. It involved organizations which was first time partners but which both have big experience in implementation of the EVS projects. It had lasted for 7 months. It was individual EVS project but in the same time hosting organization ? HO had hosted few other volunteers at other EVS projects which had helped volunteer to integrate and live in one international environment as Madrid is. Project activities had few stages ? from begin of information, getting to know activities in the NGO, way of work, structure, culture, users, till the level of implementation of personal projects. During the project implementation volunteer had become able to communicate, speak, write and work at Spanish language. Some of the implemented activities was related to reading (releasing books in Bookcrossing), information about cultural opportunities (grants, support, prizes, contests,...), social networks (Facebook, Twitter, Tuenti), new technologies (Isssu), training (e-learning with Moodle), research, information and interactive cultural platforms, language classes, intercultural understanding and learning activities, planning, management and implementation of cultural events, development, design and implementation of programmes and cultural activities, cultural information search, internet research tasks: statistics, books, library materials, electronic resources, etc., youth information, maintenance of databases, blogs and other channels of cultural communication, editing of both electronic and printed material (brochures, posters, videos, etc ...), research, documentation and dissemination of cultural policy, space management and web tools, mobility activities with youngsters in youth centre. Before project implementation volunteer had no or very little experience in implementation of this kind of activities. Within those activities she was helped to learn and implement various methodologies of using culture, art, education, sharing the knowledge. Main topics of her work were forces at anti discrimination, solidarity, tolerance mutual understanding, youth participation, youth education, employ ability and participation in general, social inclusion of youth with fewer opportunities, political education, especially topics of democracy and European Citizenship. Our idea with project was to encourage volunteer to find her own place within this activities, according to her personal interests and abilities, on the other hand we had given our best to help volunteer to fulfill herself and her own ideas in the field of youth work, education, new technologies art and culture. This had helped because she had developed personal project where she was learning users of HO youth centre German language, share German culture with them when she was learning the same from them. During all activities one goal was assured to provide information and counseling to young people according to the following principles: promote intercultural dialogue and favor understanding of foreign cultures/languages, educate young people towards an active European citizenship, support any cultural, educative and/or artistic expression based on the previous values, promote the social construction of Europe.
