The Lycée Louis Querbes is in Rodez, capital of the department of Aveyron , in the Midi-Pyrénées Region. Situated between Toulouse and Montpellier, Aveyron is very touristy with a rich historical heritage, landscape and cultural. Rodez and its suburbs, as the Midi-Pyrénées region, are part of a real openness to international politics: twinning with the city Bamberg in Germany, the presence of other European volunteers in the city, many associations which that of Argentina ... Pigüé Rodez is also a very dynamic thanks to the many and various activities carried out there (sporting and cultural) city. The development of European and international exchange projects is at the heart of the Lycée Louis Querbes project. The goal is that each of those who wish to benefit from a mobility experience and intercultural dévouverte. It also involves the hosting of European volunteers from different nationality. The difference is a mutual enrichment. The Lycée Louis Querbes offers a voluntary activity 10 months (September to June). Involved in the general animation of the institution with students, in collaboration with the educational team, the volunteer will participate mainly in the development of arts and cultural activities, including in collaboration with local organizations (social proximity radio, museum, art gallery...). In addition to its investment in our structure, it will have time to implement awareness of young students to European citizenship and recovery of voluntary service. Among the activities of the volunteer, a large part is intended to discover the country and its culture that will be presented in the facility but also to the social community radio based in Rodez (RTR). For optimal implementation of Youthpass at the end of the service, and volunteer tutor will provide regular updates on activities, knowledge, skills and attitudes acquired. The volunteer will also participate in various seminars organized under the Erasmus+ Programme.
