PROJECT
FINISHED
The project "Il biologico come salvaguardia dell'ambiente" derives from the great importance that the green economy sector is achieving in all the world. The green jobs are always more requested and the professional profiles must be high in this sector. In Italy, Umbria is not among those regions that invest more money in technologies and research in favor of companies that work in the green economy sector. The Istituto "Cassata Gattapone" di Gubbio, is sensitive to the promoting sustainable land management and promotes initiatives with other agricoltural schools in the centre of Italy, especially with Istituto d'Istruzione Superiore Ciuffelli-Einaudi, the most ancient in Italy, that make the "reality" of the city of Todi an area of possible national and international reference to strengthen and implement effective action to safeguard, develop and promote every rural area in the world. In this framework, the school wants to let its student spend a period of study abroad, to get in contact with companies that operate with the new green technologies in crop biotechnology and environmental protection.
AIMS
The project fits perfectly in the aims of the Institute and in the course of study that its students are undertaking. It gives beneficiaries the opportunity of an internship in an organized and monitored continuity between school and work. School and companies work together to produce the required professional profiles, allowing participants to develop their soft skills necessary to get relational, emotional and social skills useful in the workplace.
OBJECTIVES

As people, they are given a great opportunity to grow through the acquisition and/or consolidation of soft skills. As citizens, they'll widen their vision of citizenship, acquiring an European dimension. As future employees they are given the tools necessary to develop skills and expertise appropriate to a rapidly evolving world sector.
