SUMMARY Project‘ Inspiring teacher in active community‘ is aimed at the qualification of pedagogues. There are three main goals, the accomplishment of which during two years would satisfy the most actual needs of our gymnasium: 1. To improve the qualification of our teachers in order to aquire more effective interaction of education, to involvie talented and gifted students into the process of education, to enhance motyvation of students and develop general competencies of teachers. 2. To develop managerial competencies of administration in order to create an active community (parents- students- teachers) and evoke attitudechange in organization of education. 3. To train and develop the foreign language skills of Heads, teachers and other staff members on purpose to strengthen Internationalisation and European dimension in our Gymnasium to enable teachers and administration both initiate new international initiatives and raise the qualifications. To reach the goals of the project and to accomplish the needs of the gymnasium the following activities are provided: Courses of English, specific courses to teachers and members of administration as well as job shadowing and teaching assignments at a partner school abroad . 14 pedagogues are planned to participate in the international mobilities. The schools of Denmark and Spain are chosen as partners as two LLP Comenius projects had been successfully implemented before. It is planned tosend 14 pedagogues to international mobilities- 5 mobilities for administration members and 9 for teachers. All pedagogues acquired High university education and acieved categories of teachers(senior teachers, teachers of methods or experts). Teachers who will express their will to take part in selection, will have to write an application letter along with motyvation letter and submit them to the Project group. In order to insure the quality of the Project and its‘ management, a Project group with distributed roles will be established. We hope to fulfill the most actual needs of our gymnasium. We believe that the activities will bring use to both individuals and gymnasium as organisation. 1.Impact on the members of administration: They will improve managerial competencies, educational organisational attitude will be changed. 2. Impact on the teachers: Teachers will acquire specific knowledge and competencies related to the goals of the Project such as experience teaching in an inovating and creative way, experience preparing for international IELTS examinations, general competencies development, they will gain confidence to communicate in a foreign language, will improve social and communicative skills in the International level; teachers will gain knowledge about the educational systems and teaching methods of such countries as the UK, Spain, Denmark, Portugal and Estonia. 3.Impact on Alytus Putinai Gymnasium: Partnership between schools will expand; teachers will find out about the teaching methods of different countries and the possibilities provided by Erasmus + programm, Alytus Putinai gymnasium staff‘s motyvation to learn a foreign language will raise, the image of the school will be strengthened and European dimension will be intensified. In the long term perspective, the community of the school will become more active and more sustainable, the relationship between parents and teachers will improve and the motyvation of students will raise.
