The village, where our high school is located, is characterized by the large number of migrants to other EU countries. Moreover, it is in an area of the "Sierra de Cadiz" which is the poorest one and with the worst rate of unemployment. For us, it is very important to reach an European dimension by working with other European centres and offer our students the opportunity to participate in European projects. The development of linguistic competence in both Castilian and English or French is one of the cornerstones of our educational project . Another problem we have is the lack of motivation of our students to achieve good academic results . We will select five teachers for the Kinda Outdoor courses and two for French language and culture. The selected teachers will have the following characteristics: - Teachers will be "foreign language teachers" (English or French) on the working language or those who credit a B1 level on the working language . - Preferably, they will have previously worked in one of the European projects in the centre. - They will justify the need for this training or the possible implementation of what they learned in their teaching methodology . - They will make a commitment to spread the knowledge or skills acquired and help other teachers to be able to implement it . The selected teachers will better their level of English or French, they will be able to know new methodological approaches and they will know other cultures and tools like eTwinning. As for our students´ results, we hope to increase the quality of foreign language teaching in our school , make educational innovation projects , open a path to our students in the participation in European programmes and projects and improve our students´ motivation. Long term, we would be able to increase the graduation rate (by developing students´ motivation) and improve the knowledge of other European countries and other cultures outside our village.
