IES Almunia is located in Jerez de la Frontera (Cadiz) in a neighbourhood called San Enrique. This was originally an agricultural area which later in the 70´s was included in the city as any other district. Our school accepts students from other primary schools and Secondary schools such as Las Granjas, Elio Anonio Nebrija, La Alcazaba, San José Obrero and Arana Beato,C.E.I.P. Pablo Picasso, Gibalbín, Lomopardo, La Ina, Cuartillo y Nueva Jarilla. Our main goals in this project are: - To promote education and innovation during the learning process - To encourage the use of TIC´s - To encourage education based on autonomy and entrepreneurship - To encourage the idea of responsability in the personal, social and professional field - To strengten cooperation agreement with European organziaions and schools - To support linguistic competence in our students - To improve the school coexistance and reduce the school absence -To reduce the early school leaving Our nine participants taking part in this project were VET students in "Computer Systems&Nets" and "Commerce" and wanted to finish their course with a training period of 3 months in other country. This work placement was necessary to complete their course. The learning outcomes and impact achieved in this project have been as initially foreseen: - Diversity and equality awareness - Practical and cognitive skills that help our student to carry out the assigned tasks and solve daily problems at work -To get a level of autonomy in the daily work -To suit a new situation and solve the daily problems in thir daily life -To improve linguistic competence and inteact with native speakers - To support entrepreneurship and initiave: Self-emplyment, work search strategies, proactive attitude - To get a european dimension with programmes that support the language learning and students exchange.
