In automn 2015 the departement "Maisons Relais et Crèches" of Red Cross Luxembourg is continuing the project of a newspaper for children from children. The newspaper "Ich bin Ich - Zeitschrift für Kinder von Kinder" will document the non-formal educational process in the childcare centers of Red Cross Luxembourg. The children will participate in the producation of the newspaper, they have an active role in defining the content. Each childcare center will produce half a page with the support of an European Volunteer (EV). At the end the newspaper will have 8 pages and will be published on monthly base, maximum 8 times a year. The project is financed with the co-funding of The EU-Program ERASMUS+. The EV will have a key role in the project, in collaboration with the children, the EV is producing the content for the newspaper. Every childcare center is defining a "Medien-Ansprechperson" which will be the direct contact person for the EV. The target group for the newspaper are the children, the parents, the childcare centers, the municipalities and the primary schools. It is foreseen that 2600 copies are going to be printed.
