The particular project emerged out of the school’s teachers need to create a modern, dynamic and professional environment which would incorporate new teaching approaches into everyday school practices. In succeeding our set goals, we strongly believe that that we could improve the teachers’ skills and competences in the following key areas:1. The organization of transnational projects2. Integration of new technologies3. Developing skills in English language (speaking, vocabulary, pronunciation)4. Educational DramaIn the actual mobility project, five mobilities have been planned for altogether 12 teachers moving to various European agencies aiming at attending educational seminars and carrying out job shadowing…The above mentioned mobilities, as they are fully developed and refined, are targeting at the fields in demand for improvement in our school. Evidently, they are expected to contribute to a great extent in the fulfillment of the school’s need for development. The mobility of the participants abroad as well as their cooperation throughout the educational transnational seminars with teachers from different countries is indented and expected to result in a deeper understanding of diversity in linguistic, social and cultural level. The activities of the particular project include:1. The recording of the needs and expectations of our school teachers..2. The selection of the participant teachers in the project activities.3. The linguistic educational training of the participant teachers in terms of communication abilities and technical terminology.4.The mobility of twelve (12) of our school teachers so as to attend 4 different courses:(3 teachers to attend a course in Spain entitled"How to make your school more international", 2 teachers to attend a course in England entitled "Teaching Languages Through Drama", 3 teachers to attend a course in Spain entitled "Game-Based learning and Gamification", 3 teachers to attend a course in Ireland entitled “English for teachers" and 1 teacher on job shadowing in our partner school in Croatia. )5. The in-school training of all our school staff so as the new knowledge acquired by the trainees at the seminars, to be incorporated in the school.6. The interschool training and the dissemination of the project results to the regional educational community, where our school belongs. The methodology used in the project includes the following categories:1. Determination of the project (project description, objective aims, realization procedures, time and financial restrictions which may be in effect and cost determination).2. Planning- Design of the project.3. Project assessment. The anticipated results and the impact of this project will include the following:- The technological enhancement of the participating teachers and the feeling of satisfaction it will bring; the competence of the use of the interactive digital technologies for the enrichment of their teaching; the increased impetus for the use of new teaching methods in the classroom.-The participant teachers will enhance their professional development, their social skills and self-esteem. They will also broaden the European dimension of the provided education. An important factor is that they will act as multipliers, informing and training the rest of the school teachers as well as the other teachers in the school's area.The most significant impact for our school will be the improvement of the quality and the effectiveness of the provided education. The long-term benefits of the project include the evolution of the traditional teaching into one that integrates interactive, cooperative and playful activities that will be more effective for pupils and adjusted to their particular needs.
