By this project we are planning to address relevant issues regarding human rights and raise awareness about different experiences and perspectives outside and inside Europe. We believe that all this objectives will be met by using effectively different non-formal education methods.
During the project, the group of 12 EVS volunteers visited different youth clubs, schools and educational institutions in towns and regions in Georgia. During their visit, the participants have organized different workshops and activities about Human Rights , European citizenship and democratic values. The main aim was to share their knowledge on topics that volunteers have an interest in and is engaged in, and also to present a different perspective about human rights and democratic values from their countries. The volunteers will prepare themselves together with their sending organizations and gather information, prior to their departure about these values based on research and documentation. The activities took place in most of the time outdoor, prioritizing healthy lifestyle and respect of the environment, and seeking also to involve the local community, which is hosting the Caravan at the moment of the organized activities.
