Our project linked to the Erasmus + Charter for HE is to accompany students, teaching and non teaching staff in their opening to international environments, more specifically in the EU context, and to make it possible for them to experience mobilities abroad thanks to EU opportunities and grants.
For students enrolled in Short Cycle HE, it represents a good means to broaden their future perspectives as to further studies or enrich their background for better employability. Thirteen student mobilities had been budgeted in the contract with a funding for both traineeship periods and study periods and actually eight students from International Trade have benefited from Erasmus + grants and carried out their traineeships in three different illegible countries. All students got an OLS access licence. Our network of European institutions and business contacts has largely contributed to students ‘ placements, which is highly positive. Thirteen students applied for an Erasmus + grant, and an application and selection procedure has been implemented, partially via the International Relations blog on our school website on which students could send enquiries and/or find the needed information. The procedure, criteria and results of selection have been communicated to students by emails and at meetings. Unfortunately, some students found they training periods late and they finally decided to shorten their period abroad to less than two months, making them non-illegible for Erasmus + any more.
Mobility Europass have been received. Traineeship experiences that are part of Short Cycle courses will be valued in the Diploma Supplement at the end of the cycle ; it will be the same for the granting of ECTS.
As for staff mobilities, only one was done.
