Global education is the answer LUISS Guido Carli University has given to an ever more inter-connected world. Its strong international network of educational programs has firmly established it as a high-profile institution in the global scenario. A selected but gradually increasing number of students attend each year some of the most prestigious universities in the world and widen their human and academic perspectives in a different cultural context, full of challenges and opportunities. Thanks to this experience, students will gain the skills required to succeed in a world in which exposure to diversity and flexibility are essential to overcome international competition. LUISS has participated in the Erasmus programme since its inception. In the last few years there has been a substantial increase in student mobility and the number of participants grows every year. An Erasmus exchange programme has become a fundamental asset of the curriculum of our best students. In the academic year 2015-2016, 387 participants from LUISS Guido Carli University took part in the Erasmus+ mobility programme between programme countries. In particular: 380 for studies, 7 for traineeship and one staff member for teaching. Twenty EU countries hosted LUISS students. An important objective is to further develop and encourage Erasmus and mobility programs at all levels and to allow students to enhance their academic experience and future employability. To make student mobility possible for the majority of eligible students with high academic standard. For this reason LUISS inserted the Double Degree and structured mobility into the Erasmus+ scheme, so to strengthen this kind of programme in the University.
