CONTEXT OF THE PROJECT: We selected our destinies because of:
Germany:
- The low rate of unemployment in the comaraca Osnabruck
- The demand for skilled professionals in the region
- The involvement of the Department of Education Landkreis Osnabruck Erasmus programs
- The excellent relations with the business fabric of their environment
- His experience in international project management
- Our previous experience cooperating with this same partner in Erasmus mobilities financed by the PAP
Malta:
- The low unemployment rate registered in the country between administrative in tourism
- The demand for skilled professionals in the region
- The possibility to improve English language proficiency by participants
- The atmosphere of place of international exchange of students and trainees, favoring social integration of participants
France and the United Kingdom:
- The contacts established by the participants previously performed in companies where they did their mobilities.
NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS: 7 students, performing their curriculum traineeships (FCT), from professional profiles of Administration and Electronics.
Our students may carry out a traineeship in companies, tutored in Germany by our partner from the district of Osanbruck and the mentor appointed by the workplace. We have our partner to establish the necessary contacts with companies. Regarding the other destinations, we have contacts made in companies in mobilities of previous years
ACTIVITIES:
Students performed their traineeships, being tutored by our partner in Osnabruck, as if they were German students and in collaboration with the tutor appointed by the company. On the other mobilities the system was similar but without specific support.
The accommodation in German was in host families or in apartments in the case of Malta and the United Kingdom on a family home in case of France.
Our partner in Germany organized cultural visits and a German course in addition to promoting the integration of students at all times
Students were able, in all cases:
- Acquiring skills
- Improve language skills
- Conduct cultural preparation prior to the start of your traineeship
- Establishing social relationships with other students and workers
EXPECTED RESULTS AND IMPACT:
The project aims to increase the chances of employability of students, so we hope to achieve:
- Job placement in the destination country.
- Job placement in Spain on his/her return, after improving the quality of their Curriculum Vitae and acquire new skills
In addition, the student improve their language skills and social skills, acquire new personal, social and professional skills in an intercultural context
LONG TERM BENEFITS:
The long-term benefits can be many and quality, taking into account the humility of our project:
- Improving employability of participating : short and long term
- Promotion of mobility among students
- Improving employment rates of any other student from our institution, since our institution can achieve an excellent school-business
We believe that it can be a starting point for future request a mobility project for students more ambitious, covering a larger number of partner countries and mobilities
