The number of mobilities for traineeship had been 29. Initially ,18 mobilities were assigned, so in this case can be considered a SUCESS.
We have found two major drawbacks:
- We were awarded funds for studies and practices, when only we managed mobilities for traineeship before,.All these problems were explained through several amendments , like change of director and extending the period for Project development.
The number of mobilities was not clear, (passing Studies Practices and have some delay response amendments, even made calls, at different days, different times to clarify the situation, but in the absence of get any response, despair and helplessness increased at times.
All that made that the main objectives delayed and changed.
- Another drawback, which made it impossible to reach number of mobilities planned was that the technical project coordinator (Santa PUCE), resigned from her job because she got another offer employment, so there was no reaction times to search a complicated, and complex profile, and someone who had a minimum knowledge of European projects, as well as instruments and tools (Mobility Tool). A staff selection process is too long, and we have not time because the program was not time enough. When a project has been managed by a person it is difficult to adapt it to a new system or form of working, so we decided to include a internal worker from this enterprise, trying to save this important project at the end with less resourses.
We think, all these aspects, should be take into account, because it was a huge effort for the enterprise and the person
We stayed with the positive experience of those who managed to go to the country and have increased knowledge of both language and culture including those who are to be left with a job, because that is what the project aim.
