The project was implemented within the framework of Erasmus+, the type of action was Mobility of students and universities staff in the period 01.06.2014 - 31.05.2016. The project covered mobility of students to study abroad and visiting academics to conduct classes. Two students went to study at the University of Schmalkalden. There were also conducted four visits of academics at universities in Latvia, Bulgaria and Romania. The aim of the project was to improve the quality of education in our institution through the development of international cooperation between universities and supporting mobility of students and employees of universities. The project involved two types of mobility: for students (visit as a part of their studies, student internships) and for academic teachers. The project supports students who are not afraid to take risks and like to acquire new knowledge in an original way - via traveling. Taking the initiative and use of scholarship programs such as Erasmus+ increases the qualifications and enriches CV of each participating student. Initiating and developing international cooperation with more foreign universities in the exchange of students and teaching staff is one of the main WWSIS objectives in the context of activities under the ongoing project. This collaboration affects the well-understood development of the university by expanding educational offer, improving the quality of education and to initiating possible joint research / scientific publications. Projects within Erasmus+ are particularly important for gaining knowledge and experience for both WWSIS students and lecturers. Implementation of the project makes it possible to adapt the program of study to meet the expectations of the education market through the exchange of experiences between the partner universities.
