University of Agder has a long tradition of participation in mobility projects in Europe and rest of the World. Therefore, it was a natural choice for us to participate in Erasmus+ Key Action 1 Learning mobility of individuals also this study year. The main objective was to continue to support individuals pursuing the mobility between universities in Europe. The total number of mobilities was 97 - 72 students and 25 staff members. The activities included learning mobility for studies, learning mobility for traineeships, staff mobility for teaching and staff mobility for training. The results show that the project plays an important role for the internationalisation of our university. The mobility of students and staff increases their awareness of global challenges and opportunities, increases their cross-cultural and pan-european knowledge and enhances their adaptivity and employability. In a long-term, the participants who have fulfilled the stay abroad will be more prepared for global international challenges and play an active role in the cross-border cooperation.
