The activities carried out, in the frame of Erasmus+ Program, a.a. 14/15, were: mobility for study, which allowed students to take a study experience abroad in a University, owner of ECHE, in a EU countries, which has concluded a bilateral agreement with the home institution, to carry out educational activites, exames or thesis research; mobility for traineeship, which allowed students to realize an internship abroad in a enterprice of one of the EU countries with which it has been agreed; mobility for teaching assignment, which allowed the professors of the University to have a period of mobility for teaching activities abroad at a higher education institution which holds ECHE, in a EU countries, into a bilateral agreement; activities as well as organization of mobility itself.
The bilateral agreements with foreign Universities, aimed at carrying out the activities of mobility for study and teaching, in the frame of Erasmus+ a.a. 14/15, are n.70 and LA for traineeship, with enterprise abroad, for mobility for traineeship are n.15.
The objectives that the University intends to pursue are: to provide the opportunity to carry out a period of study/training in the international context to a greater number of subjects, so that the realization of significant professional and social experience has full usability in the workplace; to encourage the mobility of teachers to give breath international to their courses, followed by students who do not participate directly in mobility programs, to make them more innovative, interesting and responsive to social needs and enterprise needs; expand the network of international educational and scientific cooperation; to encourage specialization, upgrading and training, including through the comparison with the university systems research, education and training in other countries; make available to students the scientific reports conducted by international professors, giving them an important technical knowledge and experience in Institutes of excellence, thus facilitating the direct relationship with the world of work.
Exchange outgoing students for study were n. 61 (of which n. 30 of I Level, n. 30 of II Level and n. 1 of III level/post graduate), as follows: n. 16 Subject Area Law, n. 13 Subjects Area Nursing and Therapy and Rehabilitation; n. 10 Subject Area Medicine, n. 6 Subject Area Pharmacy, n. 5 Subject Area Business and Administration, n. 4 Subject Area Information and Communication Technology, n.3 Subject Area Sociology, n. 2 Subject Area Sport Science, n. 2 students Subject Area Biologiacal and related sciences.
Exchange outgoing students for traineeship were n. 15 (of which n. 2 of Level I, n. 11 of II and n. 2 of III/post graduate), as follows: n. 4 Subject Area Medicine, n. 4 Subject Area Business and Administration, n. 2 Subject Area Pharmacy, n. 2 Subject Area Nursing and Therapy and Rehabilit, n. 2 Subject Area Law, n. 1 Subject Area Area Dental studies.
Exchange outgoing teachers for teaching to foreign university partners were n. 5, as follows : 1 Subject Area Medicine, 1 Subject Area Pharmacy, 2 Subject Area Information and Communication Technology, Subject Area Business and Administration.
Among the results obtained in a.a. 14-15, it should be noted that the number of mobile students for study has doubled over the previous year (from 29 to 61).
Outgoing students, through Erasmus+ experience, declared to acquired and improved following competences: lerned better how to cooperate in teams, develop an idea and put it into practice, problem solving skills, plan and carry out learning independently, analytical skills, able to adapt to and act in new situations, cooperate with people from other backgrounds and cultures, and more open minded and curious about new challenges, more able to think and analyse information critically, more interested in europea topics. They have also expressed to have higher propensity to work abroad and have acquired more skills we can spend on a future career.
Outgoing teachers have declared that erasmus+ experience has contributed to their professional and personal development through the ability to test and develop new means of learning or teaching methods and learn from good practices present abroad. They have also expressed to had the opportunity to extend their professional network, build new contacts and strengthen cooperation institutions partners.
Erasmus experience has represented, therefore, an important opportunity for teachers to exchange experiences and expertise, the basis for undertaking new educational and scientific cooperation, as well as important opportunities for discussion about innovative methods of teaching and research. This has led to a strengthening of educational coop between universities partners in order to improve the quality of teaching each other and promote the integration of the training.
