PROJECT
FINISHED
During the last year we launched our foray into Erasmus + receiving the baton from our colleague who moved to another school. In this way we attended several courses, meetings and conferences to absord all the necessary information to carry out our task with illusion and willing to transmit all this to our students. During this time we carried out two mobilities (one of them with a 0 grant) in the city of Leipzig and was extremely productive because it served us to get in touch with German companies to carry out future student mobilities and it finalized with the designing of a project for Vocational Training. In fact, the result has been very positive because twelve of our students will perform their internship in this country this year together with two teachers that will supervise their stay and work during five days.
Moreover, we got in direct touch with Dual Vocational Training in Germany (pioneer country in this system) which served us as an example to apply this system in our school during this year, our first experience in Dual Vocational Training. The programme of our mobility was very complete and during our stay we visited multiple companies and varied education centres where our students can perform their internship this year. Furthemore, we had several cultural visits and got to know the history of Germany in general and Leipzig particularly.
We are convinced that this first preparatory visit has been essential to carry out our 2015 project and of course to be able to explain first hand, both to students and teachers, all the main and minor features of the mobilities and to solve all their doubts. It has also been valuable to encourage us and our whole community to continue working in European Projects in the future, because we are convinced that this is the best experience we can offer to our students.
