The evolution of the Erasmus program in the frame of Babes-Bolyai University had in major impact taking into consideration the increased number of beneficiaries in each academic year and the diversification of the program trough new partners from different regions. In the academic year 2014/2015, BBU had as overall objective the increasing of the number of beneficiaries incoming and outgoing. The obtained results underline the fact that there was an increased in the number of beneficiaries from the academic year 2013/2014 with the following percentage: 11,07% student mobilities (342 mobilities for the academic year 2014/2015), 13,22% internships (137 mobilities for the academic year 2014/2015), 16,50% incoming mobilities for the academic (240 mobilities for 2014/2015), 17,35% teaching mobilities (139 mobilities in the academic year 2014/2015) and 29,26% staff training mobilities (106 mobilities in the academic year 2014/2015). The beneficiaries of the Erasmus program at Babes-Bolyai University are: students, administrative and teaching staff). As well there were realised an increased of 14,37% percentage of mobilities to the number allocated in the contract.
There were organized several activities such as: dissemination, organization, monitoring, evaluation and report of the mobilities both at BBU level and partner universities.
The Erasmus mobilities have as results the modernization of the higher education taking into consideration that the academic training and teaching at partner universities for students and academics generates a transfer of information and good practices. In the same way, the mobilities are a good opportunity to establish new contacts for participation in conferences on different fields, writing scientific articles as co-authors, identification of potential partners for international projects, joint PhD coordination.
