Vocational College for Catering and Tourism Maribor has ever since the beginning of Erasmus exchange tried to establish a transparent and qualitative approach toward organising and implementing mobilities. Since we are aware of the importance of international cooperation for development of catering, tourism and wellness services, we plan our mobilities with care and have a systematic approach. We have a well-established network of international institutions and partners. Nationally speaking, we are a vocational college with the most fruitful international cooperation in the Slovene environment. This is a huge responsibility and also a challenge for further development. We thereforE try to ensure a continuous presence of Erasmus+ mobilities, provide regular information updates and select candidates in a transparent and non-discriminatory procedure. Mobilities are well planned and monitored; we apply special quality criteria through which we wish to improve the quality and development of the profession. We are also constantly engaged in improvement of educational programmes for the catering, tourism and wellness industry in Slovenia. A modern and state-of-the-art transfer of knowledge and competences as well as cooperation with all stakeholders from the hospitality industry are crucial for our success.
