The aim of the KA 103’s participation was increasing the mobility of students, lecturers and administration within Europe. For this purpose, the vast network of Erasmus partner universities was used, which the University of Hildesheim has established over recent years.
The focus of KA 103 in 2014/15 was on student mobility. In the field of SMS 198 students studied at partner universities in other European countries. In the field of Teaching Mobility (STA) 12 lecturers taught abroad and in the field of Administrative Staff Mobility (STT) two administrative staffs used the Workshadowing. Erasmus+ placements were handled in a consortium headed by the Leibniz University Hannover, so that they do not appear in this report.
More than 92 percent of the outgoing students and 100 percent of the abroad lectures are very satisfied with their stay abroad. This satisfaction and positive progress reports have helped to arouse the interest of other members of the University of Hildesheim and contributes to a further increase in the mobility numbers.
The participation in KA 103 with the associated stays abroad of students, lectures and administrative staffs lead to a more cosmopolitan university, better prepared students for the labor market and a higher quality of teaching.
