Higher education student and staff mobility project
Start date: Jun 1, 2014, End date: Sep 30, 2015 PROJECT  FINISHED

The agreement established between the School and the Erasmus Agency, signed on 10.16.2014, mentioned a maximum of 58 939?. This money helped support and organizing 33 mobilities : - 22 SMS - 8 SMP - 2 STT - 1 STA Context The international office of the school has been reconfigured in 2014-2015. The international referent left the school in July 2014. The management has been ensured between several agents of the educational service, supported occasionally by shifts. In April 2015, a special assistant has been hired as educational and international coordinator, to took over the management on strategic and institutional issues. She has been supported by the scholar service for student management. At the same time, the international commission (nominate by the board of education), met to assess the consistency of partnerships under international strategic priority axes. The school has 14 bilateral partnership agreements related to Erasmus program. These partnerships have been set up by teacher?s initiatives. The EAVT sent the Erasmus Agency a grant application for the year 2014-2015 which was based on an estimation of the last year?s needs, but also on the certification application 2015-2019, written at the same time. Objectives - Structuring partnerships according the pedagogical school?s approaches. The board of education, initiated a reflection to define the type of targeted partners a year ago. The new international coordinator has initiated an update of our partner?s educational contents to evaluate the relevance regarding the educational project of the school, especially on the "City and territories' approach. The adequacy between partners and the school have been identified by various actions : meticulous consultation of partners teaching materials (website, brochures), enhancing the return commission for outgoing students from 2014 to 2015 with an additional review of the host institutions and finally, encouraging teachers and agents mobility. This work is pursuing today for the 2015-2016 project. - Making international experience accessible to all. To encourage mobility of all students, including for internships, the school is trying to pursue a policy of allocating financial resources and balanced just by applying the lowest monthly assistance. The main goal is to assure that all students can participate to an international project. With the same ambition, the allocation for SMP is also limited to three months (corresponding to the time required for an internship second cycle). This objective, through a communication effort and this allocation strategy is considered to be achieved with 36% general scholarship holder for the year 2014-2015. Efforts have to be maintained for the 2015-2016 project. - Become more attractive for international incomes and balancing inflows / outgoing. Around 30 students leave school each year, but only about ten incomes are welcomed. Also, the school is not able to answer all the mobility expectations: discovery of the whole hosting country, language practice in different settings and especially experiencing the daily life in the French Capitale. The program requires a high presence of the students inside the school. Our inflexible curriculum and our suburban environment are the two main factors behind the decline of attractiveness. Students who apply for mobility in the great Paris tend to choose a school ?intramuros?. The school has initiated improvements for student arrival conditions: three weeks of FLE and visits in Paris were organized jointly with ENSA of Paris Belleville. These weeks are credited with ECTS, which allows incoming students to ease their semesters. The students association is creating an Erasmus office to organize "Erasmus events" (weekends in France, theme night events, exhibitions, etc.). A Facebook page managed by the administration has also been created to facilitate exchanges between students. It is already widely acclaimed especially for housing "exchanges" between incoming and outgoing. - Ensure Student Success abroad. The 2014-2015 project reflects the school's position on its success expectations abroad. If The new context and the new architectural culture is obviously enriching the student cursus, this new environment can sometimes be difficult during the mobility or make the difficult return. To ensure student success in the context of trade, the board of education has decided to give a particular attention to the outgoing?s applications, ensuring their level architecture, their autonomy and their language skills. Students have to follow the teaching of "Study Report" at a distance, with a dedicated teacher. In this way, they stay connected to the school and take the advantage of this class in French, considered essential for further studies. For the 2014-2015 project, the school has only one drop-mobility study (3% of SMS) which corresponds to a reorientation in another discipline.
