Akdeniz University International Relations Office (IRO), responsible for carrying out Erasmus+ KA1 Learning Mobility of Individuals, started the project on the 1st of June 2015 and it lasted for 16 months. During this 16-month period, 107 students completed learn?ng mobility, 44 students completed traineeship mobility, 11 staff completed staff teaching mobility and 13 staff completed learning mobility successfully. Although our planned total mobility number was 121, we managed to increase it to 175 via working in cooperation with partner universities. We organised two staff weeks to improve our relationship with partner universities. This helped us to make our cooperation better. Within the university, Unit International Relations Coordinators were responsible for student affairs, while International Relations Department/Programme Coordinators were distributed throughout the departments and report back to the Institutional Exchange Coordinators in the IRO. There were more than 250 coordinators active in the university. There were regular meetings with all the coordinators to evaluate the system and give information about new developments and changes. Our studenst were more motivated to improve their foreign language before and after the mobility. They were also more motivated and encouraged to study in a European University. Our staff not only improved their foreign language skills but also they tried to improve the quality of their courses. They also had a chance to meet theri colleagues and discuss about their field to give high quality education in their departments.
