Our school has been dealing with work experience mobilities for vocational students since 2012 (before then, mobilities were done via Leonardo and Transnational projects). The IT vocational students have traditionally been the main participants in international projects. This project was focused on students of higher vocational training course of Administration and IT Systems and Networks; and of Development of Web Aplications and Multiplatform. The enterprises and entities had every requirement to allow students to develop their skills and abilities in their school years, and to facilitate their improvement of English and their professional CV. The project was meant for four participants, although it has to be readapted for the final two participants. The partners were an educational facility for higher students in Kokkola (Finnland) and an IT enterprise in the same city. The second company, which had been extremely difficult to find, was not finally needed, as the student had some family issues that prevented his work experience abroad. The activities done by the student in Kokkola are detailed in number 5. The activities were supervised and checked by our Work Experience Coordinator before, during and after the stay in Finnland. The evaluation of the student was highly satisfactory, and he eventually stayed in Finnland for an extra month, working for the very same company where he had done his experience.
