Our project, ’Hybrid and electric vehicles. Electronic diagnosis’, intends to improve the professional skills of our staff and students alike in electronic diagnosis and repair of hybrid and electric vehicles, which already appeared on the EU market. Our aim is to provide our students with the necessary qualification to ensure their future employment. We initiated a very successful Leonardo-mobility project at enterprises in Halle, Germany in 2012-2014 and sent 4 flows of 6 students each to a 2 months' training period. We intend to send 8 flows of 4 students each for 32 days of VET to enteprises in Hamburg, Germany, as well as 8 flows of 2 staff for a training period of 3 days in Hamburg at enterprises and an educational institution in 2015-2017. As our staff has no practical experience in a subject we have already been teaching in theory, and as only theoretical knowlegde is insufficient, it is indispensable to enable our staff to do a job shadowing and job training at our partners vocational school in Hamburg, and at some of the 855 companies cooperating with them in VET to acquire the most recent knowledge and specific know-how abroad. The VET at our school meets the needs of the labour market in Hungary that is matched with the European trends.
