An intercultural training and cultural program named Heritage of the Past was launched in May 2007. In recognition of its cultural and youth values, the project program was elected to be an official program of the "European Year of Intercultural Dialogue" in December 2007. The Heritage of the Past focuses on the surrounding world, the cultural heritage surrounding us and forming a part of our everyday life and familiarization therewith. In the framework of an assignment, youngsters can get acquainted with the heritage of their past, with changes in their environment, and with local history by collecting old photographs and producing their current counterparts and analyzing changes in recent years on the basis thereof.
