FINISHED
From July 20th to July 29th, 2016 will take place the project “Health Cooking Réunion (partII)” in Saint Andre on the reunion island. 4 countries and 26 young people find themselves around the problems of food overconsumption. Our work is to sensitize about the food problems and more particularly with food overconsumption in Belgium and Europe. With this time like field study the Island of the Réunion where the population and the local managers put many things places from there to reduce the wasting. We have like ambition to discover specific novel methods to this Island to reduce our consumption in waste from the point of view of “Healt cooking” and to adapt them on our region. Our objective is well to discover this topic through specificities to each country, area and population. The general objective remains the same one: to learn how to know other young people, to discover our similarities and differences and to exchange on the problems of food overconsumption. To make our project, a concentrate of knowledge, know-how and exchanges of good practices around the topic of overconsumption. That this project of mobility and co-operation become a hatching chamber with ideas for the future. We also put a point of honor so that ALL young person can take part in the project (young people with less opportunities, cf E1). Our first project brought to us enormously and we wish to become expert truths of durable consumption. Our project answers our request to learn and exchange novel methods to reduce our food consumption and to sensitize in our turn of other people. We wish to reproduce the creation of a photo exposure to which will come to be added the 20 already existing photographs of the exchange in Belgium. The final objective being to have a great exposure photographs produced in 4 different countries and which recall the 4 years of training of our group. The banquet without waste is also considered for this project, more especially as the great meals accompanied by music and folk dances are a great part of quotidien life of the population (what we had discovered during the first exchange). The meal will be prepared by the whole of the participants and to propose to the population of Saint Andre of the Réunion Island. We will associate people of various ethnic origins with it in order to help the participants to become aware of the cultural diversity which has the Island of Réunion and which the problem of overconsumption touch everyone.
