The project "Harmonization of the European culinary art with the Bulgarian culinary traditions" is pointed to 20 students from 11th and 12th grade from Sofia`s Vocational High School for tourism. They will practice in elite restaurants like cooks and waiters in Ludwigshafen and Mannheim in Germany. In the project the student will have to compare lots of dishes and ecological pure products used in Bulgarian national cuisine with those approved European foodstuffs and dishes. Guarantee the qualities of the foods includes harmonization or mutually recognition of the standards of the used foods. One of the main goals at the recognition of standards is to be established the safety of the foods and the trust of the consumers in biological farming at the territory of the European Union. The growing harmonization of the standards for used food stuffs and for the offered services will encourage the specialization and effective development of new services. With presented project we pay attention to the students to ecological pure products, their standardization in EU and their use in the culinary. Partner of the Sofia`s vocational school for tourism is German vocational center "IUVENTAS". The partner will offer working places for 20 students in elite restaurants in Ludwigshafen and Mannheim . In the project will be used acting approach "Learning by doing". Each student will work under the leadership of the tutor who will be responsible for him/her during the 3 week practice. In the process of practice it will be made the relationship between the generations and staffs from different nationalities working in the restaurants. Working languages for the project are German and English. At the end of the practice each participant will be assessed by German employer by TESTIMONIAL CARD / 100 p/which is used in German educational system. It has 3 sections - "Behaviour during the work and training"; "Objectivery competences", "Social competences". The Principals of the two institutions, the accompanied teachers and employees of the partner will make monitoring and will mark the progress of the beneficent. The partner will assure cultural program for the beneficent at the weekends. At the end of the project the beneficent will get the documents which will certificate their results from formal and informal education and training: 1. Certificate for level A1 in German language / European language frame/ - issued at Sofia`s Vocational High School for Tourism; 2. Certificate for participating at international practice in German restaurant - issued by IUVENTAS - Germany; 3. EUROPASS Mobility in Bulgarian and English languages - issued by both Partner Institutions; 4. TESTIMONIAL CARD with the acquired useful practice skills for the professions "cook" and "waiter" - issued by German Employer. In short-term plan the goals of the project are: 1. Preparation of young and mobile working labor who have to find their place in the labor market in Bulgaria and all over the world. 2. Encouraging the students of inter cultural way of work and life, for successful relation between the generations and for long life learning. 3. Developing the institution - Sofia`s vocational high school for tourism and making international relations with partner organizations in the country and with the Employers abroad. In long -term plan the project is pointed towards the further development of the participants by: 1. Encouraging the participants for further learning in formal and informal education and training. 2. Stimulation the interest in foreign languages learning like a bridge for personal and vocational realization. 3. Forcing the vocational interest in certification and work for protection of other Bulgarian foods to get European mark for quality.
