In the "Hand to Hand" Spain young voluntary project has made its European Voluntary Service in Moldova for one year.
ERYTEEIA have acted as an association of shipping, and the Moldovan Institute for Human Rights (IDOM) was the host organization and ADVIT Moldova as a point of contact outside the host organization.
IDOM is an independent, nonprofit, founded in 2007 by a group of lawyers and human rights defenders. IDOM members have considerable experience in monitoring and promoting respect for human rights and the fulfillment of the obligations that the Republic of Moldova agreed to the OSCE, the United Nations and the Council of Europe.
The main aim of IDOM is to contribute to the education, promotion and defense of the rights and freedoms guaranteed by national and international law. Advocacy and litigation done by IDOM are beneficial not only to specific groups, but for society in general. IDOM takes care of the strongest human rights violations, caused by ignorance of the higher values such as individual freedom, social justice and equality and non-discrimination.
Our volunteer helped achieve the objectives of the host organization and gained experience with the organization and development of activities for the target groups of projects. He also enriched his language skills, communication skills, understanding and promotion of intercultural learning and from all parties.
Our volunteer with the "Hand to Hand" project; He has gained valuable work experience, learned a new language and developed his professionalism, interpersonal and cultural skills. At the same time he had the opportunity to offer their skills, knowledge and enthusiasm for the benefit of projects to those who embraced. This project mainly promoted tolerance, intercultural dialogue and solidarity among young people throughout the EU and partner countries.
