The project "Hands for Kosovo 2" ist the following project of the sucessfull "Hands for Kosovo", which was conducted in September 2015 in Peja, Kosovo. It is a common purpose of the humanitarian organisation "Duart Plotë Mëshirë" (DPM) from Peja, Kosovo and the social and cultural center "GeyserHaus" (GH) from Leipzig, Germany.In the period of July, the 21st to July, the 31st in 2016, ten young people from Kosovo, twelve young people from Germany and five young asylum-seekers out of Leipzigs Refugeehouses will get together on the area of GeyserHaus in Leipzig for different activities.A huge number of these young people have experienced various forms and intensities of discrimination and disadvantage.The aim of the project is to extend the cooperation of both organisations further and to engage together for disadvanteged young people in both countries under the premise of equalitiy of opportunities and inclusion. The project will contribute to:- Increasing the Situation of asylum-seekers and young people in kosovo-increasing the integration of persons which have the experience of migration- Increasing the intercultural awareness and the ability of empathy of young people, followed by a better perception of the human community and its needfulness by considering the global defiances.These aims will be implemented by various activities like the placement of the participants in short internships at local companies, the creation of a intercultural roadmap of the city of Leipzig for asylum-seekers, the creative, intercultural designing of wall areas as well as a rash of relaxing and restorative freetime activities.
