The youth exchange 'GREEN YOUR LIFE' 2 took place in Slovenia from 23 to 29 September 2015. All activities were held in Maribor Slovenia. It involved 30 young participants (between 16 and 30 years old) and 5 group leaders from Slovenia, Slovakia, Macedonia, Romania and Turkey. For most of them it was the first experience in an European project. The project was about Eco-living. It helped participants to be more aware of environmental issues and help them find how they can, in their everyday life, be more environmentally responsible and play an active part of promoting a more sustainable future. G.R.E.E.N. is an acronym for: G=Global warming, R=Reducing waste, E=Energy, E=Endangered species and N=Nutrition. Every day had one of these thematics. The youngsters learned and discussed those 5 important issues and through workshops, role-plays, practical work and games developed new ideas that they can implement back home with the help of their organizations. They experimented, during the fews days of the training, another way of living focused on sustainability and gained new environmentally friendly habits for their every day life, especially in urban surroundings. During the project, they acted as Eco-designers and produced so called 'Green card' that summarize their experiences and learning and help them share it both physically and on-line. Together they learned about each others countries and experience being part of an inter-cultural dialogue, that we believe leads to more tolerance and cooperation. This project was a follow up of the project Green Your Life which took place in Zajezová, Slovakia.
