Project ‘Go Pro!’ is a partnership building activity and training, which will take place on 05-12 of March 2016 in Krakow. Project will gather 33 participants from 12 different countries. They will be: local, national and international projects coordinators; staff supporting youth and monitoring their learning process (mentors, evaluators, coaches); volunteers, trainers, youth workers, facilitators, working with youth on a daily basis.The aim of the project is to enable representatives of partner organisations to work together on new initiatives which will focus on providing full support, engagement and participation of young people. The objectives of the project are:- Development and improvement of cooperation between organisations working with youth in different countries in Europe;- Exchange of knowledge and skills regarding youth participation and engagement;- Improvement of quality of common projects, especially related to cultural sensitivity, active participation and identifying and reaching learning objectives;- Finding common grounds between the needs of target groups of different organisations;- Transferring experience and skills gained during implementation of short-term projects (exchanges, seminars, training courses) to the ground of future long-term initiatives (EVS, KA2, KA3);- Developing new and innovative methods of youth engagement (especially coaching).Participation in ‘Go Pro!’ will enable the participants not only to exchange existing experience, but will also provide the space to develop better mechanisms of project-work with special focus on participants, including – clear explanation of their needs to international partners. Seminar/training will be conducted with the use of non-formal education methods, including presentations and exchange of good practices between the participants. It is also a unique opportunity to settle the grounds for long-term projects. As a result – new, better-thought, planned and prepared projects will be organised, based on the principle of equal partnership between the organisations. Participation in the projects will contribute to significant improvement of potential of partner organisations with regard to international cooperation, conflict resolution and more efficient youth engagement. In the long-term perspective – it will enable cooperation and networking between organisations with common goals, needs and working methods, which will jointly work and shape European reality, supporting development of civil society.
