"Go International" project is a long-term EVS project. This project connect three organizations from three Erasmus+ project countries: hosting organization Youth Informational Centre and its umrella organization DDM Ostrov Slaný from Slaný, Czech republic and sending organizations Learning Center for Yourh from Limmasol, Cyprus and Türkiye Avrupa Vakfi from Kadiköy-Istanbul, Turkey. YIC under DDM Ostrov will host two EVS volunteers for one year from 05-01-2016 to 03-01-2017. The whole projects will last from 01-08-2015 to 01-08-2017. Main objectives of the work of the volunteers will be to disseminate principles of European Citizenship, cultural diversity, awarness of stereotypes, promoting Erasmus+ project and to enhance international dimension of youth work. The specific activities are connected with operation of our organization and with other local cooperating institutions. The task are mostly about creating and promoting intercultural events and workshops for local public or youth and creating outputs from them, about increasing the opportunities of the locals to improve in foreign languages with specific emphasis on children attending local library and youth attending language clubs in YIC. They will also promote their experience with Erasmus+ program on social media, in local media and during workshops at schools and in library. The impact on local community migh be substantial, because there are many stereotypes about Turkey and Cyprus and the presence of the volunteers from these countries could change them. We also expect that workshops with local students will make them more aware of their possibilities provided by European Union. The volunteers will also work on a bigger output for use of youth on national level. But the project will also have international impact as we will support out volunteers to create peaceful message for their countries which have huge conflicts between them. Finally we would like to establish long-term cooperation between all organizations involved.
