In the "Go Eco in the city of the fire and wind" project taking part two partners:ASU from Azerbaijan and SAO Bona Fides from Poland.Is projected as 10 months EVS activity taking place in Baku,Azerbaijan for 2 Polish volunteers.The EVS activity preferable will last since 1st July 2016 till 1st May 2017.DThe project aims:-raise awareness of the importance of the environment heritage at personal,social, economical and ecological level and learning to value it and to protect it.-organize activities that promote inclusion,interaction and mutual understanding, through involvement with the local community of the volunteers;-to promote citizenship and integration of young people from local community together with EVS volunteers, advocating good environmental education and habits for healthy lifestyle-to implement social and community campaigns using non-formal tools, in order to develop the involvement and participation of the youth in society and by that boosting youth social responsibility in the environmental themes and entrepreneurial skillsThose aims will be achieved through a series of activities like:1.Volunteers are going to transfer information and knowledge about the environment to the youths and local inhabitants by:•preparation of environmental actions;•preparing new ecological projects,programmers,campaigns2. Discussions and debates at the universities according to the ecological problems.3. Facilitating different youth activities.Topics will be:air pollution,biodiversity,climate change,natural resources,natural resources, land use, soiletc.Methods will be trainings,debates or group works.They will organize movie nights and using intellectual games like code da vinci and brain ring games.4.Organizing social activities in Baku like charity campaigns,parties,city tours,ecological photo tours;5.Organizing Cross-cultural discussions:presentations about differences between our cultures,family life,understanding in different contexts.6.Fundraising activities7.Publications and websites tasksAddressing problems of environment, the project will start within the local community a process of recognition, awareness and attitudes to take on these issues.We will improve local people's education in the environment protection topics like:- awareness-raising and human and institutional capacity on climate change mitigation, adaptation, impact reduction and early warning- sustainable consumption- rising awareness about environment preservation etc.There are 4 main groups of the actors that are involved in the project: the volunteer, the sending organization, the receiving organization and volunteers students from Azerbaijan as well as all of the youths with whom volunteers will have contact.Addressing problems of environment, the project will start within the local community a process of recognition, awareness and attitudes to take on these issues.Improve local people's education in the environment protection topics like:- awareness-raising and human and institutional capacity on climate change mitigation, adaptation, impact reduction and early warning- sustainable consumption- rising awareness about environment preservation etc.
