The objective is to improve linkages between Gibraltar and Morocco in the field of natural history and the environment.Activities are expected to include:• A conference and post-conference excursion;• Discussions on the possibility of re-introducing Gibraltar macaques to areas of Morocco;• Bird ringing training, establishment of a ringing site in Morocco and data exchange to monitor migration;• Protected area management plan development for areas in Morocco;• Ecotourism development, including two-centre holidays;• Botanical work on a number of species. Expected Results: Outputs will be:- four trained Moroccan bird ringers, - the release of Gibraltar macaques to areas in Morocco, protected area management plan development for areas in Morocco, - four Gibraltarian biologists to visit Morocco, two seminars to be held, - two field visits to Morocco and a - pilot two-centre eco-tour executed.
