Future Trainers and Facilitators of Young Immigrants and Asylum Seekers (Genç Göçmen ve Sığınmacıların Gelecekteki Eğitmen ve Kolaylaştırıcıları) is a project which seeks to adress the one of the most important issues that Turkey and Europe faces: Asylum Seekers, Refugees, Immigrants. There are too many young people and their families escaped from the conflict in their countries and took a shelter in another one. Since each nation has a different culture, there should be a process for integration via facilitators and trainers. However, the numbers are too big for a national intervention. Therefore, local and regional dynamics should be involved in this matter.In parallel with this problematic, our project aims to create a pilot training programme for the future trainers and facilitators who would like to take part to tackle this issue and get involved in integration of young immigrants, asylum seekers and refugees. Project is planned to start on 01.07.2016 and last 7 months. Prior to mobility activity, a tailor made training methodology will be created in paralell with the needs of the participants by their contribution. Training activity will last 10 days and involve non formal and informal training methods.In the short term, participants will have/update necessary skills and become a trainer/facilitator for the young immigrants, asylum seekers and refugees. In the middle and long term, they will train their pupils to tackle this issue. In the meantime, a network which is formed throughout the project will continue and participants support each other in terms of additional, new information, experience and knowledge.
