Project participants consist of 72 students to be selected among the 618 students in 11th and 12th grades from Private Deva Occupational and Technical Anatolian High school, Mustafa Kemal MTAL and Private Alp College MTAL according to the mentioned criteria and from 9 occupational course teachers. The participant students have received a total of 8 hours English courses as 4 hours in 9th grade and 4 hours in 10th grade. The level of learning foreign language in our country is very low due to reasons such as that the English learning is based on memorizing, that our students have no learning environment based on speaking and that there are no listening activities via headphones. Until the time passes until the flow of our project; students will be taught courses such as occupational development, nutrition, communication in health sciences, Anatomy and physiology, occupational rights and responsibilities, aseptic applications, system illnesses, special care applications and basic medication information.One of the most important demographic aspects in 21st century is the aging of population. People live longer, birth rates decrease and the aged population increase numerically in the world. The concept of aging is more obvious in developed countries, and it also gains importance for the developing countries;also the older population increases in our country. Aging of population increases almost every aspect of society such as health, social security, education, job opportunities and family life. Today, older individuals is the group that consumes the biggest part of the budget spent for health services. In order to improve the life quality of older people, they have to be supported through an interdisciplinary care developed specifically for the individual.We are planning for our students and occupational course teachers to receive training at health institutions that provide services in 3 different countries; and at the end of project we will provide our students a chance to step forward in the job search with their training and certificates. We aim to contribute for turning our students into qualified personnel with the certificates they will receive; within the framework of social health centers, home care services and family physician. Also, at the end of our project, the participants' occupational competency levels will be increased, their level of foreign language will improve, and they will learn and get familiarize with innovative applications, methods and techniques in geriatrics; and reflect these information and experiences to the applications in Turkey. Following the acceptance of our project, our first participant group will receive 2 weeks of training-internship under the coordination of Střednízdravotnickáškola organization in Czech Republic between the dates 04.03.2017-20.03.2017. Our second participant group will receive 2 weeks of training and internship under the coordination of ForModenasoc. cons a r. l. organization in Italy between the dates 04.03.2017-20.03.2017. Our third participant group will receive 2 weeks of training and internship under the coordination of BókayJánosHumánSzakközépiskola organization in Hungary between the dates 04.03.2017-20.03.2017.
