GALILEO SCHOOL - bilingual kindergarten and elementary school s.r.o., offers a comprehensive system of education focusing on education provided in English and Czech language in the kindergarten for kids from 2 to 6 years and at the primary school from 1st grade up to 9th grade.The intention of our school is to be a family school with the maximum of 16 pupils in a class. The project “GALILEO – GATE OF LANGUAGES” focuses on the professional development of teachers in the area of bilingual education which will be provided by a foreign educational institutions.Objectives of the project -application of the bilingual methodology and C.L.I.L. into the school educational process-application of an innovative methodology of C.L.I.L. into the lessons of subjects taught in Czech language-practical application of new methods into language teachingExpected impacts of the project on development of the school-teachers will be using quality based methodology which will increase a quality of students work-educational plans and materials for bilingual education will be developed on quality and innovative methodological foundations- it will be extended the cooperation of the school to the international level - eTwinning, international education and mobility programme of teachers and pupils- new contacts and cooperation with schools abroad will be established - this might be developed All participants (9 people) of the project are teachers of GALILEO SCHOOL, who have already taught bilingually and want to widen their competencies.
