"FULLY-EMPLOYED" is an European Seminar - Action 4.3 - on youth unemployment in the countries of European Union.
The Seminar shall host 34 participants youth workers, leaders and local volunteers actively involved in local projects, coming from Italy, Spain, Finland, Hungary, Slovenia, Romania, Bulgaria, Portugal, Croatia and Latvia that will be held in Forza D'Agrò, Italy, from 22nd to 27th September 2014.
The seminar will be a platform for exchange of good practice as well as an opportunity for youth workers to become more familiar with youth unemployment reality in the European Union. Participants will have the opportunity to enhance skill and gain their competences to develop activities for increasing the employment competences among young people in their communities.
With active participation of professional youth workers, the project aims to exchange good practices and to discuss on difficulties and successes in the current situation of labor market for building new cooperation between European youth organizations in the field of youth unemployment. Through a structured programme of activities and based on a range of non-formal methods this project aims developing participants’ knowledge in the field of European unemployment while addressing the challenges and opportunities resulting from youth unemployment and social exclusion.The participants will be provided with space to exchange ideas, to develop their creativity, strategic thinking, self-esteem, responsibility. The activities will be realized making use of methodologies based on non-formal learning principles, through: Ice-breaking and Intercultural Games, Press Conference, Presentation, Cultural Visit, Round Table, Interactive Workshop, Seminar, Working Group, Exchange of good and bad practices, Networking, Evaluation, Intercultural Night, Moments of debates, Discussion and Comparison. Undoubtfully, sharing country specific examples regarding youth unemployment will provide opportunity for the exchange of experience and good practice in youth work and will foster reflection on different dimensions of youth unemployment and social exclusion in Europe. This activity will help to share ideas and experience among the participants leading to the identification of differences and similarities regarding youth unemployment in different country cases. In addition, this process of interactive discussion will provide suitable platform for brainstorming and policy oriented group works creating possible solutions for social inclusion through the youth and social entrepreneurship. By implementing the follow-up and dissemination activities, such as the publication of a final report of the projects, the aim is to ensure a wide disseminanation and a widervisibility to the Project and the new European Youth Program Erasmus+.
