The title of our project is: "Foreign language teaching with success in Europe" What lies behind the project is the fact that the best results in foreign language training are obtained in the country where the language is spoken. Secondly, we think that schools of different countries in Europe can enrich each other as for teaching and learning when their teachers are willing to do teacher training in the respective school. We aim at widening the linguistic, didactical and pedagogical competence of our staff, introducing them to new programmes which help pupils to learn successfully, at opening their minds for new ideas and projects with colleagues abroad and motivating them for their work with the students. We want to send one English teacher to England to do a teacher training course there and one Spanish teacher to Spain to do job-shadowing. A Spanish teacher will do job-shadowing at our school. As a result, we would like to have a common increase in the quality of successful foreign language teaching in Europe. We expect that this project will, in the long, run make our foreign language teaching more motivating and successful for the pupils.
