The European Development Plan of the Istituto di Istruzione Superiore Michele Buniva in Pinerolo aims at supporting the professional development of teachers as well as the quality development and internationalisation of the educational offer in our area.
Three main training needs have been identified:
1) Clil / Emile methodology,
2) new technologies;
3) social inclusion.
A period of job shadowing is foreseen to give teachers the opportunity to investigate teaching and organisational practices in European schools.
The European Development Plan Michele Buniva consists of four corresponding learning mobility projects for school education staff. The number of participants is eight.
Training providers have been selected on the basis of their ability to assist participants with accomodation and insurance. Selection criteria have also included the ability of the provider to assist us with pre-course preparation, monitoring and feedback during training and dissemination activities.
Communication with training providers is online or via the E-Twinning platform.
A structured, transparent and documented process is described for the selection of participants.
Project management procedures are outlined to support and record all the stages of the project up to the final collection of data and resources for assessing the impact of the European Development Plan.
Dissemination activities are included in the Plan to which participants formally commit when selected.
Our European Development Plan has a high potential as for innovation and capability to function at a European and international level both for our school and for the larger area where we operate and it extends beyond the duration of the funding.
