The teachers are meant to attend an English course for teachers in Great Britain. Both teachers teach English. The aim of the particpation in the course is to strengthen and improve their English knowledge and their methodological and cultural knowledge and intercultural awareness. Mr Konstantin Chytiris has a diploma as a commercial teacher who studied economics and English. He teaches at the commercial school Dinkelsbühl and at the vocational school Dinkelsbühl. There he is the head of the English department. Besides he is the head of the quality-management-team at the commercial school. He taught at the vocational college for office staff in Dinkelbsühl and at the university of applied science in Aalen in the past, too. He attended several courses and traineeships in the English-speaking world and taught at the Clarendon-House Grammar School in Ramsgate, UK, for several weeks.
Mr Stefan K. has a diploma as a commercial teacher and teaches English at the vocational school Dinkelsbühl, even though he didn't study English. Therefore he is keen on attending courses abroad whenever possible. So he attended several courses and traineeships in the UK and Ireland, too.
Both hope to get an inside view into modern methods of teaching English and new developments of the language. The long-term effects should be vivid lessons from which all pupils could profit.
