The entire Lucie Aubrac Nursery and Primary School team wanted to encourage two of their teachers to apply for a training course inside the Erasmus + Programm for several reasons. First of all, they wanted to give the school and the town of St Vincent des Landes, the opportunity to turn themselves towards Europe, especially because the school and the town are situated in a poor area, where unemployment reaches a high level. According to every partner in the school or in the town, this project gives every pupil ,through the teachers, a chance to travel abroad, to speak foreign languages, and feel comfortable at it. Both teachers, Mrs Blais and Mrs Lastennet intended to improve their skills in English and learn more about the english way of life, in order to give advises to their collegues inside the school and teach english to pupils in a more fluent way. Besides, both teachers intended to learn from their English collegues how they use new digital tools, especially the interactive board, which has been settled for several years in english schools and has newly made its appearance in our classes.
