PROJECT
FINISHED
This project is a national staff training programme in the field of European mobility and intercultural education. It intends to meet the needs expressed by the employees and follows the analysis made by CEMEA's leading bodies. CEMEA's network has been invested in European programmes for 11 years and have a very important European and international activity. However this activity is very disparate according to the territories. In addition to this analysis, the steering committe decided to organize a national continuing training programme in order to accompany the regions on their developing activity. Trainings to European mobility and intercultural education are a strong lever for development, and crucially lack on the territories. Moreover, these activities give the opportunity to diversify financial sources and pedagogical innovation tools. This national training programme is coordinated on the national level, and is built in cooperation with all of CEMEA's activity sectors. Its objectives are the empowerement and the development of further competences among the salaried and non salaried staff (pedagogical, administrative, leading staff), about the issues of intercultural work, European and international project engineering, and educational stakes in Europe. This project concerns around 620 persons. The expected impacts are to increase the number of people able to manage European project and intercultural education units, in order to propose within 5 years an harmonized training programme on the territory. This project is part of CEMEA’s development strategy of diversification and innovation in the field of pedagogical approaches. Another impact will be the increased mobility among the staff of our association as well as their employability. This project is based on study visits and practical internships at our European partner’s. This experience will help improve the national recognition of the added value of European mobility among educational staff. It will also be the opportunity to do some lobbying about our conception of the non formal education in Europe, within education to citizenship, that will be passed on through the European networks CEMEA is involved in (EUCISLLL, Solidar, FICEMEA).
