The idea and the necessity of applying for receiving a grant for mobility project for VET learners in partnership with firms and companies came from the results of the the analysis carried out by the committee of observation and study of the labor market (OSP), established in our school since 2012 which had the mission to “observe” the labor market at local and regional level and which collected, stored and processed information (analysis and forecast) related to achieving the link between the school education system and labor market. One of the main conclusions, which became the strategic target of institutional development plan, was increasing the insertion level of graduates by relevant qualifications that meet labor market and training in partnership with businesses in the area.
The future ecologist technician must be able to respond, through specialized training, to the needs and priority policies, at national and European level, which implicitly generate the request on labor market for specialists to protect and improve the environment, improve living standards based on ensuring public utilities services, especially regarding water and waste management, improving sectoral and regional systems of environmental management, conservation of biodiversity and ecological reconstruction. Therefore our students need opportunities for internships which, by practical, varied, attractive and innovative activities, coupled with the realities, needs and developments in the field, could develop the necessary professional skills for practicing the profession in order to become active, employable and mobile citizens in Europe.
THE PROJECT OBJECTIVES ARE:
O1. Development and improvement of professional skills of the participants in a European working environment connected with their field of training: environmental protection, in order to facilitate vocational integration on national and European labor market;
O2. Contact, adaptation and integration of participants in a competitive, socio-cultural, European work space;
O3. Establishing a platform for transnational collaboration between Romanian training institutions and European companies and developing mutual trust and cooperation within the EU.
The project objectives will be achieved, notably by conducting a professional training course for students with the specialization of ecologist technician, who will cover the following content, corresponding to Module VI: "POLLUTION AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION" for 11th form.

Module VI "POLLUTION AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION" will be covered during the internship, corresponding to skill unit 14 from the professional training standards - "Pollution and Environment Protection" with a number of 150 hours per year, 30 hours of technological laboratory and 120 hours of practical training. Mobility becomes, thus, part of the vocational training provided by the school. Since all the skills included in the standards of professional training in this competence unit are developing during the internship, the school will make the transfer, recognition and inclusion in the qualification of the skills developed during this stage, the registration in the skills certificate issued to students at the end of the training program, giving international recognition to these documents.
