The "TRAINING FOR QUALITY SERVICES, THROUGH EUROPEAN MOBILITIES" project is proposed by the Economic College of Mountainous Banat Resita, the National Call 2016, within Erasmus +program, key action 1.The project aims specific objective of the Erasmus +: improving the level of those competences and skills, with relevance to the labor market and their contribution to a cohesive society, by increasing opportunities for learning mobility, having educational purpose and strengthening cooperation between school and the labor market.The thematic priority of the project is linked to promoting quality education and initial and continuing vocational training, personal development in order to obtain performance, ensuring a better transition from school to work and facilitating young people insertion on the labor marketThe project has the following objectives:1. Achieving knowledge and abilities, developing competences which allow students: to use professional equipment from the kitchen and pastry department; to prepare raw materials and auxiliaries used in the kitchen or pastry department; to prepare and transform dough in order to obtain pastries; to obtain prepared products for breakfast, lunch and dinner; to display the obtained products; to verify the quality of the products and to remedy defects.2. Achieving knowledge and information on the Cyprus culture and tradition 3. Improving level of knowledge of English and the degree of relationship within the team.Mobility will consist of 15 days of practical training internships (6h / day x 15 = 90 hours) and 6 days of cultural activities. The project runs for a period of two years and aims a group of 70 students (28 students in the first year and 42 students in the second year), respectively:Year 1:- 12 students of the Xth grade of the vocational school, Food Industry, Baker-pastry qualification flour productspreparer, who undergo practical training provided under Module CDL “Quality Assurance of pastry products"- 16 students of high school-Xth grade, Tourism and food / nutrition that will follow the practical training provided under Module CDL “Methods and gastronomical procedures".Year 2:- 21 students of high school-Xth grade, Food Industry, who undergo practical training provided under Module CDL “Quality Assurance of pastry products"- 21 students of high school-Xth grade, Tourism and food / nutrition that will follow the practical training provided under Module CDL “Methods and gastronomical procedures ‘‘. These modules CDL type approved in the school board meeting of 01.26.2016 and sent for approval to the County School Inspectorate (according timing approval for CDL) Concerning pastry, the students will learn how to prepare raw materials, to prepare dough and get pastries, to check their quality and to remedy defects. In the kitchen, the students will perform primary and thermal processing of food and will get prepared products for breakfast, lunch and dinner. All the students will have the opportunity to work with professional equipment.The students will learn to ensure quality hotel services or perform food analyzes to identify counterfeits.Results expected at the end of the project:- Acquisition of practical skills in the field of qualification.- Development of communication skills in English- Achievement of learning materials for CDL (booklet for practical training entitled “EUROPEAN FOOD AND PASTRY - MODERN TECHNIQUES AND PROCEDURES"- Increase of the involvement of teachers in curriculum design type CDL (adapted to the realities of the labor market and the needs of trainees, which will ease the transition from school to work and will provide performance)- Continuing the collaboration with companies involved in the project for progress on future calls for projects- Development of the European dimension of school activity undertaken by writing new applications, due to the 3 actions of financing within Erasmus +.The long term benefits would be:- Increase ofthe employability of graduates on the labor market- Increase of interest in technological and vocational education and reduce absenteeism and school dropout.- Establishing educational offer based on the students’ needs of personal and professional development, ensuring improvement of labor skillsStudents will gain experience working in foreign companies, will gain professional knowledge and skills, will acquire language and communication skills that will allow the insertion on the labor market as promoters of European quality, both in Romania, and in Europe.Participation in mobility will make students understand the need for offering high quality services, whether they are Romanian or European economic agent and develop the understanding of other cultures, including work culture.
