This Euromed training of intercultural youth leaders will take place from the 23rd to the 30th of Mai 2016 in Marseille, 35 participants will be trained in the organization and animation of youth exchanges as tools for social and local development. they will learn to prepare the group and activities, how to involve the local community, how to animate the learning process using dynamic and participatory methods. They will also aquire méthodes for the evaluation and dissemination of the project results.The partner organizations offer professional training towards civil society actors and facilitators from seven different countries - France , Tunisia , Spain , Morocco , Germany , Algeria and Italy , their goal is to allow them to participate at a training for intercultural youth leaders with a certification in an international framework. Among the non-formal education methods, we will focus on relevantes methods of intercultural learning as tools for promoting cultural diversity and knowledge of oneself and the Other. The program also plans project visits of associations working with methods for social development based on participation of young people in Marseille.This training is part of the projects organized on behalf of the network M.E.R., it has been created by Euro-Mediterranean organizations and civil society actors that commit to organize actions of exchange, mobility and mutual learning during a cooperation meeting that took place with the support of the Erasmus+ program. The training is planned on three stages in France, Algeria and Germany. It also supports the consolidation of the Euro-Mediterranean network of people and organizations active in the field of youth. It will facilitate the creation of future joint projects and provide information on the possibilities of programs for youth mobility.
