FORMACIÓN, MOVILIDAD, EMPLEO
Start date: Sep 1, 2014, End date: Aug 31, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

Within our mission as a college is to offer a better teaching quality in the intermediate vocational programs, since our college has gotten better facilities for the last years, we firmly believe that our students deserve to experience different facilities, new techniques and technologies. The number of students who have taken part in the project was 27 students plus two of them who after being in Finland they were offered the chance to stay longer in the placement, so in the MT+ it appears 29 mobilities instead of 27. These students belong to different vocational programs such as Hairdressing, Fashion, Nurse assistant and IT. These intermediate vocational programs students have an academic and social profile which is some cases very low. And in other cases their economic resources are very limited and they depend on their families. We have tried to select those students who have the most outstanding record and have behaved properly which we believe are two fair items to get such a good grants. The competences which the students have reached are the promotion of lifelong learning, improve entrepreneurship and national and international mobility. The project has also promoted the acquisition of new methods and technologies. The project has also improved the participants language competence. The participants have compared different ways of working and have learnt about job opportunities. The specific objectives have developed team work, creativity, and autonomy. As well as learnt about IT and have knowledge about other market strategies. We have promoted the knowledge of other cultural, educational and language realities. The project has expected to reach these objectives through mobility. With the college vision, mission and principles we have intended to foster other chances of job within the EU. That is to say to foster and stimulate mobility of future workers in the Union, as our unemployment rate for people under 30 is one of the highest in Europe. The results of placements have been highly satisfactory over 80 % as shown in the surveys and the impact of project has proved to be very positive not only for participants but also for the educational community since the demand of placements abroad has increased and unfortunately several students have not been able to take part in the project. In fact in this project we had 17 grants from Erasmus+ and after the intermediate report SEPIE gave us 7 more grants which became in 10 grants after several arrangements, which gives an idea of the demand we have in our college to take part in Erasmus+. The benefits in the long run for students are: experience and learn about other cultures, languages (the students can see how skillful is in a foreign language), daily coexistence with other people as way to learn to be flexible and liberal to other ways of thinking, take care of oneself in foreign atmospheres and professional growth. The Erasmus+ experience will mean an added value in the student´s CV and employers when they want to contract a young worker they will value Erasmus students very favorably.
